We're in our 5th year of Quiz Night at Finbar's and it has become one of our greatest hits.  Every Wednesday at 7:30 we bring this UK pub tradition to Bedford.  Our live host conducts a fun and competitive trivia contest for beer and prizes.

Here's how it works:

Bring a team of up to 6 friends to Finbar's on a Wednesday night.  You may enter a bigger team if you want but only teams of 6 or less are eligible for prizes.  You may also play solo if you like, no pressure.

At 7:30 our host passes out pencils and answer sheets to every team.

At 7:35 competition begins!  Our host asks two rounds of 20 questions each and each team writes their answers on their sheets.  The questions span a wide variety of subjects including sports, politics, history, science, and current events.  The level of difficulty is generally challenging but not impossible.

After each round of 20 our host collects all the answer sheets and tabulates the scores.  The winning team of each round wins one of a variety of exciting prizes and the overall best score for both rounds combined wins a $50 Gift Card for Finbar's Irish Pub!

To keep things interesting there are also 2 speed rounds during the course of the evening where the host asks a series of questions and asks for a show of hands for the answers.  The first correct answer for each question wins a sur-prize from our grab bag.

Plus: Everybody wins because any pint of Rickard's, White, Red, or Dark, is only $5 a pint all night!

Please Note:  On Quiz Night we often get very busy very quickly and our little kitchen can't always keep pace with the demand.  We never compromise the quality of our food but on Quiz Night it sometimes takes a little longer than usual to prepare.  If you intend to have dinner while you compete, and we hope that you do, please allow for a slightly longer wait time for your meal.  Thanks.

Please Note: On Quiz Night we DO NOT maintain a waiting list because we don't have the same rate of turn-over as on a typical evening.  Many of our patrons who are here at 7:30 will still be here at 9:30 so we feel it is unfair to late arrivals to take names with no guarantees that a table will become available in a reasonable amount of time.  Although our official start time is 7:30pm, we recommend being here for 6:30 to ensure you get a table.
