Once a month, from October to May, award winning Chef Sean Kettley of the NSCC Culinary Program hosts Cooking Class at Finbar's.

The presentation begins at 7pm sharp and the $40 dollar ticket price includes an incredible three course meal and a great seat for an entertaining presentation of culinary expertise.  Chef Sean hosts the class much like a live cooking show.  The presentation takes place entirely in the dining room, only steps away from your seat, and is very interactive with lots of opportunity to ask questions and pick Chef Sean’s brain.  Recipes for each of the evening’s dishes will be provided and you may take them when you go, allowing you to relax through the show.  All beverages are menu price, tax and gratuity are not included.

We don't take advance bookings for Cooking Class until we send an invitation, with the menu included, to everyone on our mailing list. We do it this way so we don't have people signing up then dropping out if the menu turns out to be unsuitable for them which can become quite cumbersome to manage. Also, because there are only 20 seats for each class, we try to give everyone the same chance to get a seat by opening the bookings for everyone at the same time.
